Expeditions, The Voice of the Mountains

We set off on pilgrimages and days of meetings in the different places of Cantabria emphasing the expeditions to the Polaciones, Cabuerniga, Aras and Liebana valleys for learning with the people they traditions of songs and rituals. We have planned more than twelve expeditions lasting several weeks, almost all of which will be held in the natural setting of Communities of Cantabria and Galicia, but to a lesser extent in the latter. The natural environment of these native traditions it will be the principal place of exchanges, musical meetings, meals and performances, recovering the ancient and spiritual sense of rite and oral tradition.

The expeditions will search for the body, the rhythm, the melody and the popular worship in the folklore.
